Customized DMX Fans, Scaffolding, Plastic Sheeting, Sound, LightingWhispers explores the somatic experience of wind — its capacity to unsettle, disorient, and dissolve the boundaries of self. Unfolding over a twelve-minute sequence of sound, light and wind, the work opens the body to sensations of surrender, loss of control and overwhelm. In an age of mounting uncertainty, the work asks what it means to stop managing experience and submit to it instead — to find, in that submission, something closer to presence than fear.
